Mark Marshall, CFRE
Vice President, Core Region

Mark assists the CFS ministry by offering on-site consultative services to LCMS congregations. His involvement helps these congregations identify and fund their capital needs, expanding their local and global missions.

His career in God’s work began in 1983 by joining the LCMS’s department of Stewardship and Financial Support (His Love—Our Response). In 1992, Mark helped create CFS and is currently serving as vice president of the Core Region. He has conducted over 80 capital stewardship campaigns as well as numerous feasibility studies.

Mark received his bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing at the University of Tulsa, Okla. As a member of the Association of Lutheran Development Executives, Mark networks with others in similar ministries to continue learning as well as teaching his peers. He received his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 1999 from the Association of Fund Raising Professionals (AFP).

Mark and his wife live in Missouri.
