Robert "Bob" Bewersdorf

Bob’s mission at CFS is to help congregations raise capital funds for ministry expansion.

Since joining CFS in 2002, Bob has helped more than 40 LCMS congregations raise funds for immediate capital needs. At CFS, Bob partners with congregations by designing customized stewardship services emphasizing accountability and integrity, producing God-pleasing results. He enables members to participate willingly and experience the joy of giving in support of ministry expansion.

Previously, Bob was Regional Vice President of the LCMS Foundation, where he served the church for 11 years. As an experienced stewardship consultant, he has helped individuals make special over-and-above gifts to LCMS churches and ministries for current needs, as well as future endowment gifts.

Before that, Bob was a Chartered Investment Counselor and investment portfolio manager for individuals, corporations and pension funds. A finance graduate from the University of Illinois, Champagne-Urbana, Ill. Bob’s congregational stewardship expertise includes creating annual stewardship campaigns and leading feasibility studies and capital campaigns, as well as serving as stewardship chair, deacon, elder, and lay reader.

Bob and his wife live in Colorado.
